Thank you to all residents who have put up one of our complimentary RSPB Nestboxes and keep the feedback coming in on who is setting up home in your garden.

Some of the fantastic responses to the bird boxes;

"I’m delighted to say that I’ve seen great tits visiting my box"      "We’ve had a bit of interest from a blue tit and a starling but no residents so far."

"We have a garden pond, birdbath and a feeding station at the other end of the garden … we generally put sunflower hearts and Niger seed in the feeders. In the front garden we have, water in a small birdbath and a on ground level with a more wildflower type of gardening to encourage insects."

"we have blue tits going in and out"   "We have seen an increase in the amount of birds since we came her ten years ago. As the garden had no plants at all when we first moved in. Now it’s full of trees and plants which the birds love."

"I positioned the box on a fence facing to the east having just early morning sun. It was very very quickly occupied by a blue tit who is currently in the process of nest building." Picture1

"We have some Blue Tits who have taken up residency in the bird box and are very busy flying in and out."

"The box is sited on the North-facing brick wall of our home, in a shaded and sheltered position in our rear garden, at a height of 2.7m above ground level. Very close by is a large clump of existing mixed native hedging that is primarily populated by Sparrows, Blue Tits, Blackbirds and Robins. Our home is a new-build property, which we have now lived in for 3 years. Since that time we have seen an increase in bird numbers and species in and around our front and rear garden."  See blue tits in one of our nest boxes  Nestbox-footage.mp4
