Thurston-based allhomes estate agent has generously provided funds for Thurston’s free hot drinks in the library – a welcoming warm space for everyone this winter.
Anyone is welcome to visit the library just to keep warm and, if you wish, find someone to talk to.
You don’t have to take part in an activity or be borrowing something: it’s ok just to come in to get out of the cold and be around people. L
ots of other things are free in the library including free computers and wifi access for your computer or other device.
And, of course, free book loans for everyone.
Suffolk Libraries is also working with BBC Radio Suffolk on an appeal to collect donations of new small toys to regift these to children who would appreciate a little extra this Christmas with all libraries, including Thurston, taking donations until 8 December.
